On occasion we get asked, when do you reboot your Linux servers for updates. The answer is, we don’t.  We utilize Ksplice a service/software system that patches the Linux kernel without rebooting. The result being increased uptime, and faster installation of security patches for kernel level vulnerabilities. This system is utilized across our shared hosting, and VPS infrastructure. Customers with dedicated servers, or virtual machines can contact our sales team for a quote on having it added to their service.
